Description: Tai Chi is a slow paced, choreographed "dance" that incorporates Kung Fu movements with Qigong principles. They are both ancient Chinese practices that have been proven to enable better health through mind and body balance, are suitable for all and can be done seated, standing or lying down. Studies have shown these ancient Chinese practices improve balance and mental focus, strengthens heart health, boosts the immune system and reduces stress. No experience is necessary to reap the benefits of this practice. No special clothing or props are required.

Description: This is a strength training class that includes hand weights, bands and a ball. The class will also include some balance training. It starts with a 5 - 10 minute warm up and then 45 minutes of strength training. Participants will also use chairs for seated abdominal work and stretching at the end of class.
